The issue of administrative control of various supervisors functioning at the stations ard administrative responsibility for overall - coordination in respect of sanitation has been examined in detail by Board. Board has decided that Station Managers/Station Superintendents will be responsible for cleanliness/sanitation and the supervisors of _ the Engineering, Electrical and Medical Departments for all ‘A’ class stations ‘shall be under the administrative control of Station Manager/Station Superintendent. The detailed instructions have been issued by the Establishment Directorate vide their letter No E(NG)I-2001/CR/2 dated 13.3.2001. A copy of the same is enclosed. ं These instructions should be brought to the notice of all concerned. Pleases acknowledge receipt.
