Part | (Vol. 1}, rail travel coupon books issued to Members/Ex-Members of certain
State Legislaltures and Press Correspondents are valid for 3 yearé (.) The rules
are silent on whether the validity of coupon books is related to the issue of tickets
or commencement/completion of journey (.) The matter has been examined (.)
Ministry of Railways have decided that the tickets against coupon books, issued
- for _use by. Members/Ex-Mem Members/Ex-Members of various State Legislaltures and Press
Correspondents, can be purchased upto the last day of their validity, in irrespective
of date of commencement/completion of journey (.)} Necessary instructions may
be issued to all concerned immediately () This issues with the concurrence of
