TC-II/2001/96/ST/Policy dated 01.12.2000 and commercial Circular no. 11 of 2001 regarding issue of first class season ticket (.) It has been decided to drop the word 'exclusive' in commercial circular no. 11 of 2001 and provision of both of above circulars are summarized as under:- . 1. First class season ticket holders will not be allowed to travel in AC coaches. 2. On specific sections where there is sufficient demand for first class season tickets, zonal Railways may attach first class chair car(s) if available on nominated trains for use of fIrst class single journey and season ticket holders on specific sections where there is sufficient demand of fIrst class season ticket holders and if it is not possible to attach fIrStclass chair cars, zonal railway may attach AC Chair Cars, coaches for use of first class season ticket holders and other first class single journey ticket holders and pass holders. 3. On those sections, where there is no first class service, first class season tickets will not be issued at all. The above instructions will take effect trom 01.06.2012.
