Duronto Express, wherever provided. .

Instructions have been issued vide Board’s Commercial Circular No.55 of 2009. ©
dated 25.10.2009 regarding supply of bedroll to passengers in Sleeper Class travelling by
~ Duronto Express, who have opted for bedroll, dt the time of issuing of ticket and have
paid required bedroils charges
2: .फी& re-designing of layout of Sleeper Class Coaches for Duronto Express trains for
stocking bedroils to be provided to willing passenger travelling in this class is under
process. The provision of bedrolls to Sleeper Class passengers in Duronto Express trains is
getting patronized gradually. Keeping in view the increasing number of passengers
_ opting for bedrolls while travelling in Sleeper Ciass of Duronto Express, it has been
- decided that as a stopgap arrangement, Berth Nos. 71 and 72 in each Sleeper Class of -
these trains, wherever provided, may be blocked for stacking bedrolls, till the redesigning -
of layout of Sleeper Coach is finalized. This interim arrangement of stacking bedrolls
against Berth Nos. 71 and 72 in existing Sleeper Coaches of Duronto Express may be ~
discontinued, as and when the re-designed Sleeper Coaches are availabie
3. It is desired that necessary instructions may be issued in the matter ond
compliance be reporied. This has approval of Board{MT} and Finance Directorate of .
