Please refer to this office letter of even number dated
7.4.99(Commercial Circular Neo. 5) wherein detaild features of tatkal scheme
were circulated, As per para $ of this scheme, 10 passengers on the tatkal
coach are to be kept on waiting list. Further, in pare 10, it has been advised
that no refund will be permissible on the confirmed reservation made under
tatkal scheme. References are being received in Ministry of
Railways(Railway Board) wherein it hag been suggested that since no refund
is permissible under tatkal scheme waiting list should not be maintained in
‘Tatkal’ coach, )
The matter has been considered in the Ministry of Railways (Railway
Board) ond it has been decided thet waiting list in the tatkal coach need not
be defined with immediate effect. ं
