Sub: Accessibility of public telephone enquiry DOT numbers through STD

All Railway Enquiry Services available on 3-digit or 4-digit DOT numbers eg. 131,
132, 1331,1332 etc. are now accessible on the National Subscriber dialing-STD {NSD)
network. Normal STD tariffs would be applicable for such calls made on NSD. The
detailed instructiory have been issued by the Telecom Directorate vide their letter No.
93/Tole/TN/S/TES: elated 22.03.04. A copy of the same is enclosed. You are requested
to co-ordinate with CSTE of your railway for getting this facility activated wherever
required,
