The Ministry of Railways has considered a Proposal for sale Of Souvenirs from National Rail Museum (NRM) through the existing bookstalls of metropolitan’ cities as per following: Ci) NRM has Provided number Or Souvenirs to promote rail « tourism. Sale of these Souvenirs will be done through existing bookstalls oF metropolitan citles on experimental basis and if found commercially Viable, | Will be extended to other places of tourist interest also, (il) To begin with items costing only Upto Rs. 250/- maybe Sold throu h bookstalis, except in case of engine model, Which js costing Rs. 1000/-, Citi) No additional. space shall be given‘ to the bookstall companies for this Purpose, - ! (Iv) 5 नए भा (v) Bookstalls companies will get souvenirs at 30% commission (on MRP) from NRM out of which 12 royalty will be paid to railway on sale turnover basis This issues with the concurrence of Railway Board Finance.
