Sub:- Catering services and charges for weekly (Duronto) Super Fast Express Train between Nizamuddin to Ernakulam and back.

Ministry of Railways have decided to introduce, a new weekly (Duronto) Super Fast Express Train between Nizamuddin to Emakulam and back. shortly.

4 In continuation of Board’s letters of even no. dated 24.12.2009 (Commercial Circular No. 72 of 2009) the catering charges inclusive of service tax for the following services of Nizamuddin - Ernakulam Duronto Express trains is as under:-

ae Newspaper and packaged drinking water should also be served to the passengers of Duronto Express trains on complimentary basis and it would not become part of apportionment cost for catering on board. The norms and supply of the above items will be same as that of Rajdhani/Shatabdi. Express trains circulated vide Board’s letter No. 95/TG.III/631/5 dated 20001999

This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Railway Board.

Please refer to Board’s letter of even number Commercial Circular No. 12 of

2010) dated 04.03.2010 on the above subject.

The train number for Duronto Super Fast Express Train between Nizamuddin to Ernakulam and back may be read as 2283/2284 instead of 2455/2256. All other contents of the letter are unchanged.

This issues with the concurrence of the Coaching Directorate.
