(COMMERCIAL CIRCULAR NO. & OF 2014) Sub: Amendment in Tatkal Scheme Please refer to this office letter number 2003/TG-I/20/P/Tatkal dated 21.11.2005 (CC No, 47 of 2005) wherein it was inter-alia advised that all unutilised reservation quotas released at the time of preparation of chart will be used for clearance of Tatkal waiting list on priority 2. The matter has been reviewed keeping in view the complaints received regarding misuse of this information by unscrupulous elements to cheat the passengers and it has been decided that all unutilised reservation quotas released at the time of preparation of reservation chart would first update general waiting list and thereafter the remaining accommodation, if any, should update Tatkal waiting list. 3.
