(COMMERCIAL CIRCULAR NO. 07 OF 2018) Sub: Defining of changing the code of Executive Class of Shatabdi Express trains as EC, At present, the code for Executive Class of Shatabdi Express train is ‘| A' which creates confusion as 1A is code of First Class Air-conditioned, and coach of this class is not attached in Shatabdi Express trains. Accordingly, the matter has been examined and it has been decided to change the code of Executive Class to’EC’ instead of 1A. Necessary modifications in the software have been made by CRIS which shall be implemented w.e.f. 01.02.2018. 2. .
