Engineer, All Zonal Railways. (Commercial Circular No.05o0f 2020) Sub: Earmarking of accommodation in Power Car of LHB rakes. In the LHB rakes, under slung Power Car (LDSLRA coach)/LSLRD with sitting on top has been manufactured in which there is a provision of providing accommodation for passengers as under: - i. For unreserved 2" class seating capacity - 30/31. ii. For Divyang friendly portion: - a. Seating capacity -06, b. Sleeping capacity -02 lower berths for Divyangjan and 02 upper berths for the companion. 2. It is, therefore, desired that whenever these rakes are put in service, the divyang friendly portion having seating capacity of 6 seats and sleeping capacity of 4 berths should be earmarked for persons with disability. Similarly, the portion having seating capacity of 30 second class seats should be earmarked for female passengers. The earmarking for female passengers will, however, be done only in the passenger portion of the LDSLRA coach attached near the guard. It will be on the lines of similar facility provided in normal Mail/Express trains where SLRD coach is provided for Persons with Disability (PWDs) and a portion of the coach near the guard is provided for unreserved female passengers. 3.
