   Sub: Amendment in Para 21 of Catering Policy 2017.
  Ref: PCCM/SR’s D.O. letter no. SR-HQ.COMM/1/2023 dated
14.08.2025
   Vide the letter referenced above, SR has suggested modifications in
Para 21 of Catering Policy 2017. The same has been reviewed in Board’s
office and the Competent Authority has approved modifications in Para
21 as under:
 
Modified Para 21 : Zonal Railways shall be permitted to introduce
innovative/new initiatives in catering on stations, with the concurrence
of Associate Finance and approval of Divisional Railway Manager for
a period of 02 years. Further, extension for the remaining period of
the full tenure (i.e. five years) may be considered with the approval of
General Manager.   
 
  Necessary action may be taken in accordance with the above.
 
  This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of
Railways.
