The matter has been further examined by Railway Board and it has been decided that with a view to facilitate the passengers to make their journey more convenient and to optimize the flexibility in time schedule passenger would be allowed to change their boarding point upto the time of preparation of second reservation chart. 3. Necessary modification in the software will be made by CRIS and this facility will become effective from 01-04-2026.Wide publicity to this revised provision should be given through all possible means. 4. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned accordingly. This has reference to Railway Board’s letter No.2026/TG-I/20/11 dt.23-03- 2026(CC17 of 2019).
