Sub: Corrigendum to Para No. 16.1.3, 16.1.4, 16.2.1, 16.2.2 and 21 of Catering Policy 2010. 
Ref: 1. Board's letter no. 2009/TG-III/600/25 dated 21.07.2010(CC 35/2010) 
A review of Para No.16 of Catering Policy 2011) regarding tenure and Para 21 regarding transfer 
of license was undertaken and aoccodingly the reinised Para No. 16.1.3, 16.1.4, 16.2.1, 16.2.2 and 21 
of Catering Policy 2010 may be read as otskr and the same may be followed while implementing 
the policy guidelines. 
Existing Para 16.1.3: Allotment of all General Minor Units at A, B & C category stations shall 
be awarded for a period of 5 years with a provision for renewal after every 3 years on satisfactory 
performance and payment of all dues and arrears and withdrawal of court cases, if any. Allotment of 
all General Minor Units at D, E & F category stations will be for a period of 5 years with a 
provision for renewal after every 5 years for a further period of 5 years on satisfactory performance 
and payment of all dues and arrears and withdrawal of court cases, if any. 
Modified Para 16.1.3: Allotment of all General Minor Units at A, B & C category stations 
shall be awarded for a period of 5 years with a provision for renewal after every 3 years on 
satisfactory performance and payment of all dpes and arrears. Allotment of all General Minor, Units 
at D, E & F category stations will be for a period of 5 years with a provision for renewal after every 
5 years for a further period of 5 years on satisfactory performance and payment of all dues and 
arrears, if any. 
Existing Para 16.1.4: Tenure of Food Plaza will be for 9 years with an extension of 3 years on 
satisfactory performance and payment and payment of all dues and arrears and withdrawal of court 
cases, if any. 
Modified Para 16.1.4: Tenure of Food Plaza will be for 9 years with an extension of 3 years on 
satisfactory performance and payment of all dues and arrears, if any. 
Existing Para 16.2.1: Special Minor Units at A, B, and C category stations shall be awarded 
for a period of 5 years with a renewal after every 3 years on satisfactory performance and payment 
of all dues and arrears and withdrav‘ral of court cases, if any.

This issues with the approval of competent authority of Railway Board.

Existing Para 16.2.2: Special Minor Units at D, E, F category stations shall be awarded for a 
period of 5 years with a provision for renewal after every 5 years for a further period of 5 years on 
satisfactory performance and payment of all dues and arrears and withdrawal of court cases, if any. 
Efforts must, however, be made at the time of renewal to ensure a minimum increase of 10% over 
the prevailing license fee. 
Modified Para 16.2.2: Special Minor Units at D, E, F category stations shall be awarded for a 
period of 5 years with a provision for renewal after every 5 years for a further period of 5 years on 
satisfactory performance and payment of all dues and arrears, if any. Efforts must, however, be 
made at the time of renewal to ensure a minimum increase of 10% over the prevailing license fee. 
Existing Para 21: Transfer of license to the spouse/legal heir would be allowed only in the 
even of death of the original licensee. The license can be transferred in the name of spouse/legal 
heir for the unexpired period of the agreement only, with personal approval of the Chief 
Commercial Manager/ Divisional Railway Manager/MD, IRCTC as the
