Sub.: Resignation of Sportspersons recruited under sports quota. Ref.: Board's letter no 2010/E (Sports)/4(1)/1 (policy) dated 31.12.2010 (RBE No. 189/2010). As per para 8.4 and 8.5, of Board's letter dated 31.12.2010, the “Service Bond” period for the persons recruited against sports quota shall be of five years. In case if infringement/violation of any of the above conditions by the Employee, he/she shall pay to the Government of an amount Of RS. nen (equivalent to the salary payable for the period of five years, i.e. bond period) and that his/her services shall be terminated on one month's notice. . 2. The issue of exemption of Service Bond has been reviewed in Board's office. It has been decided that a sportsperson who has applied through proper channel and get selected to posts under the Central or State Govt. or in PSU, Autonomous bodies wholly or substantially owned/financed/controlled by the Central/State Govt., the balance amount of their bond period may be carried forward.
