Requests have been received in Board for Rationalizing travel entitlement in CC Class of Shatabdi Express type trains at Par with that of 3-AC Class of Rajdhani/Duronto Express type trains, on Privilege Pass (PP)/Post Retirement Complimentary Pass (PRCP)/Widow Pass (WP) for Railway Servants in Pay Level in Pay Matrix (PLPM) 11 to 17, as the entitlement on Duty Passes for all categories of Railway Servants already stands rationalized.

2. The matter has been examined in consultation with Commercial (PM) Dte of Railway Board and with the approval of the Competent Authority, it has been decided that for Railway

Servants in PLPM 11 to 17, the entitlement for No. of seats in CC Class of Shatabdi Express type trains may be made at par with the entitlement for No. of berths in 3-AC Class of Rajdhani/Duronto Express type trains. Accordingly, in Annexure-Il of Board's above referred letter, entitlement for No. of seats in CC Class of Shatabdi Express type trains for Railway

employees in PLPM 11 to 17 on PP/PRCP/WP may be read as 04, instead of 02.

3. CRIS/PRS and CRIS/HRMS is advised to make necessary modifications in the PRS & €-Pass Module of HRMS, respectively, on immediate basis.

4. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
