In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby directs that the proviso to Rule 2 of Railway Services (Conduct) Rules, 1966, contained in Appendix-I of Indian Railway Establishment Code-Vol.-I, Fifth Edition, 1985 (Second Reprint Edition, 2003) may be amended as in the Advance Correction Slip No. 101 enclosed herewith. 2.
